This name has been borne by some Islamic scholars, philosophers, and theologians throughout history, many of whom influenced Islamic history, philosophy, and thought.One such figure is ''Mohyeddin Ibn Arabi'', a Muslim scholar who lived in Andalusia (now part of Spain) in the 12th century. Ibn Arabi is remembered for his teachings on Islamic spirituality, particularly Sufism.
