Judge played college baseball for the Fresno State Bulldogs, and was selected by the Yankees with the 32nd pick in the first round of the 2013 MLB draft. After making his MLB debut in 2016, Judge unanimously won AL Rookie of the Year in 2017 and finished second in AL MVP voting. He hit an AL-leading 52 home runs, breaking the MLB rookie record, and was the first rookie to win the Home Run Derby. He won his first MVP in 2022 after breaking the AL single-season home run record.
That offseason, he re-signed with the Yankees on a nine-year, $360-million contract and was named the team's captain. Judge won his second MVP in 2024 unanimously, leading MLB in home runs as the Yankees made their first World Series appearance in 15 years. Provided by Wikipedia
