Abe no Nakamaro

Abe no Nakamaro from ''Hyakunin Isshu'' – c. 770}}, whose Chinese name was Chao Heng (, pronounced ''Chōkō'' in Japanese), was a Japanese scholar and ''waka'' poet of the Nara period.
