D. Y. Patil

Dnyandeo Yashwantrao Patil (born 22 October 1935) is a former Indian politician, best known as the governor of Bihar, West Bengal and Tripura. He was a leader of the Indian National Congress from Maharashtra state.

He received the Padma Shri award in 1991 for social work.
