David McGuinty

David Joseph McGuinty (born February 25, 1960) is a Canadian lawyer and politician who has been the minister of public safety since December 2024. A member of the Liberal Party, McGuinty has served as the member of Parliament (MP) for Ottawa South since 2004. He formerly served as the first chair of the National Security and Intelligence Committee of Parliamentarians, an agency which oversees Canadian intelligence servicers. Provided by Wikipedia
