G. V. Krishna Reddy

Gunupati Venkata Krishna Reddy (born 22 March 1937) is a philanthropist and entrepreneur. GVK Reddy is the founder and chairman of GVK Group, a business conglomerate with a predominant focus on infrastructure development.

GVK Reddy also heads GVK EMRI, Corporate social responsibility initiatives of GVK. This is an emergency response services provider under a Public-Private Partnership model spread across 15 states and two Union Territories of India. In 2009, he was elected as the Chairman of 108 Ambulance for Andhra Pradesh.

As the President of the All India Senior Tennis Association and a tennis player himself, GVK Reddy has been a keen supporter of budding sporting talent. He has led GVK Group to sponsor many young tennis players including Sania Mirza and Pranjala Yadlapalli. Provided by Wikipedia
