National Football League
(NFL) from 1973 to 1983. He played
college football
for the
Michigan Wolverines football
from 1970 to 1972, earning consensus
All-American
honors in 1972. He was a second-team All-NFL player in 1980, and his streak of 159 consecutive games is the second longest in Eagles history.
