Scott M. Grundy

Scott M. Grundy Scott M. Grundy (10 July 1933 – 29 January 2025) was an American physician and researcher in cardiovascular medicine and nutrition science. He conducted research on cholesterol metabolism and was involved in the development of national and international guidelines for the prevention of atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease (ASCVD). Grundy's work explored the role of low-density lipoprotein (LDL) cholesterol, also known as “bad” cholesterol, in heart disease and the clinical use of statins. Provided by Wikipedia
