description This project concerned the study of the flow pattern over biuff bodies representing building structures using computational fluid dynamics method. The literature study was based on the basic aerodynamic concept. It was carried out theoretically to understand the characteristics of the flow. Flow over the bluff bodies was simulated using the computer code, called FLUENT/PC, in order to get the streamline plotted around the buildings and pressure distribution at various faces of the buildings. The results obtained from the computer simulation shown a good agreement in trends when compared to the results from wind tunnel tests, but varies in magnitudes.
