Summary: | Intersymbol interference cause a major setbeck in a data communication system. We proceed our study on how to ediminate this setback. A normal method to combat this setback is by using a linear equalizer. Since a communication transmission channel is no longer linear, therefore linear equalizer cannot provide a good equalization of intersymbol interference. An automatic equalizer employing modulo arithmatic is then introduced for the some objective. Here, in our study, new forms of equalizer is being put forward. This qualiser is represented by a srambler circuit. Probability of error is used as a performance index. Important parameters involved in the simulation are (a) sampled values of channel impulse response (b) signal to noise ratio and (c) probability of error. An optimum probability of error is chosen and the optimization process is performed by using a digital computer. |
