This study consists of a deep coverage on the methods of implementing SPC at the electroplating line. The Volumet-ric analysis method was used to collect and analyze data. Due to that, the chosen Improvement Quality Tool for monitoring theprocess is the X bar and R Chart (Variable Control Chart). A network for the SPC implementation was recommended to overcome the process problems. As a result, the average process defect of 0.05% ppm was brought down to zero. This shows a tremendous improvement at the electroplating line. The benefits that can be released from this study is a comprehensive understanding of SPC,it's implementation at the electroplating line and the constrains involved nthe progress of the implementation. |
