Description
Summary:The use computerized PC-Based Training System has been popularized in thisdecade through the invention of the personal computer. This PC-Based Remote Motor Control Training System is basically a software package which is integrated with some hardware interfacing (The remote motor vehicle set) that allows user to train or set the pattern of the vehicle movement in certainmanner. In the meantime, the package also serves as a training system for gunnery officers from the Ministry of Defence to carry out their shooting accuracy practice, which is part of the requirement of a defence officer to be fulfilled. The system is equipped with a set of algorithms or methods incalculating the performance of the user in terms of accuracy by giving certain comments and grades. The vehicle with a receiver acts as either staticor moving target. The turbo C++ for Windows is the language being used in developing the system using Object Oriented Programming Paradigm. At the design stage, the rootobjects were identified followed by the derrivation of object classes by referring to the Object Modeling Method (OMT). Further on, teh relationshipor interaction between the classes were figured out by using dynamic models. The process of fine tuning the design has been carried out from time to timeto improve the previous version of modeling. At the final part of this thesis, the idea of implementing the entire design into their codes are presented. This involves the derrivation of the whole system layout, the design of the system menus, dialog boxes and also the most user friendly graphic user interface (GUI).
