Motorola 6 sigma quality had proved the usefulness of this SPC program especially in the semiconductor industry.The aim of this thesis is to report the experience of an semiconductor industry in SPC implementation and also to identify the pitfall or problems during its implementation.In this thesis, the quality strategy in the semiconductor industry is discussed in Chapter 1. In chapter 2, the history of the company is discussed.The main body of this thesis is on the chapter 3 and 4 where chapter 3 discussed the SPC implementation plan of the company. Chapter 4, however will only discuss the SPC on line implementation which occur in the company. Inchapter 5, the result fo SPC implementation are shown in this chapter.As the conclusion of this thesis, the recommendation is recommend in chapter6 and it is hope that this thesis will give the valuable information forthose who aware of their organization quality. |
