Description
Summary:The results of the measurements made in 'Sub-tropical pine forest' to studytheir effect on radio wave propagation in the frequency range 50-800MHz,are presented. The basic transmission loss in the presence of vegetation has been found to increase with frequency and the distance between transmitter and receiver, and it is higher for vertical polarization. The rate of attenuation has been found to decrease sharply with the increase in the transmitter-receiver distance.
