All working equation are briefly discussed. The selection procedures adopted in the program consist of static failure analysis, material fatigue and surface durability analysis of the spur gear. The program flow diagram is also included. The program is written in Turbo Pascal language. It has been rigorously tested using examples found in many literatures and the results are found to be consistent and valid. The program listing and a sample output of the program is included at the end of the thesis. |
