The book provides easy reading, presenting a wealth of information on technological as well as social aspects of agricultural development in Peninsular Malaysia. These are provided in a pictorial form and written in a popular style. The book is a 'must', not only for the academicians and historians but also the general public interested in knowing the history of the Department and the development of agriculture in the country. The book is the culmination of efforts of the editorial team of the Department and is the result of the contribution of all its other officers, without whose participation this book would not have become a reality.-- |
