| Summary: | Fisheries science is the academic discipline of managing and understanding fisheries is a multidisciplinary science, which draws on the disciplines of oceanography, marine biology, marine conservation, ecology, population dynamics, economics and management to attempt to provide an integrated picture of fisheries.
