A predication of machines or components failure was undertaken with the objective of establishing maintenance requirements. This analysis was done by manual calculation procedures as well as with the uses of an Optimization and Reliability Analysis (MORA) software. This study was useful in introducing reliability analysis as a maintenance tool inhelping maintenance engineer in its planning of machine maintenance for avoidance ofmachine or component failures.
