| Resumo: | This dissertation outlines the development of a CNC benchtype milling machine which is a continuation of previous students' project. In the dissertationthe practical and theoretical experience on essential procedures in developing a CNC benchtype milling machine were discussed.This dissertation began with an introduction on the project background.This is followed by further discussion about the development of CNC machinein the country. The possible benefits from this project is also highlightedin chapter two.Chapterthree focuses on the mechanical parts improvements which had beendone during this session. This involved the fabrication of a new spindleshaft, the design and as well as the fabrication of a counterweight system.Chaprer four permits an understanding of feedback control loop. The eefforts associated in establishing the feedback control are clearly explained in the chapter. The successive chapter is concentrating on limit switchinterfacing to the exixting milling machine.Finally, some recommendations for the future development were made andthis concluded the project for these session. |
