| Summary: | Savitsky method is used to determine resistance and dynamic stability of planning hull in smooth and rough sea. The computational method involves the determination of the total resistence and porpoising limit which will provide for equilibrium conditionms of the hull at a given running speed, displacement and center of gravity. this paper is focussed on the computerational procedure to obtain hydrodynamic particulars. However, this paper is limited to hull hydrodynamics of planning surface and in some applicable range due to limited data. Finally, a program based on this method is successfully developed. Evaluation of this program has been performed to validate the result. |
