| Summary: | The main objective of this project is to study the performance of the inks while writing with different types of tips. In order to achieve this objective, the ink laydown test is done by using the Ink Laydown Test Machine at Swan Malaysia Sendirian Berhad. Calibration of the machine is done to set up the machine. Analysis is done later by comparing the different performance between the fresh ink and the ink which was kept in the oven for a period of time. Comparison is also made to compare the performances among these tips. The result of the experiments showed that the performance of certain ink is better by using certain type of tips. A detail procedure of carrying out the experiments is included in this report. Some recommendations were made for further works and also for the improvements. |
