Description
Summary:The advanced of technologies had stirred the necessity for more precision companents to ease the automated assembly, reduction of scrap to cost of material ratio, maximizie the interchangeability, miniaturization and reliabilityines are frequently employed, if not a must. In this dissertation the practical and vicarious experience on essential procedures in developing a benchtype CNC milling machine are discussed. Firstly, the system resolution setup is highlighted. Secondly, design and fabrication of the aerostatic slideway, Thirdly, CNC components comparison and selection, Fourthly, development of control algorithm, synthesis, design and analysis of digital servo-controller(SISO), fifthly, synthesis and analysis for trajectory command generation and last but not least, the development of part programming subroutines and servo-controller software. Simulated results of digital servo-controller for unit step input responses are illustrated. Subroutines together with simulateed results for path trajectory interpolator without servo-controller system using C++ programming language is also enclosed.
