Summary: | In this paper, we take physical and health integration as the entry point. Firstly, based on the transformation mechanism of adolescent idiopathic scoliosis we construct a time delay differential model. Moreover, using the theory of characteristic equation we discuss the stability of a positive equilibrium under the delays of <inline-formula><math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><semantics><mrow><mi>τ</mi><mo>=</mo><mn>0</mn></mrow></semantics></math></inline-formula> and <inline-formula><math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><semantics><mrow><mi>τ</mi><mo>≠</mo><mn>0</mn></mrow></semantics></math></inline-formula>. Furthermore, through numerical simulation, it has been verified the delay, <inline-formula><math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><semantics><mi>τ</mi></semantics></math></inline-formula>, exceeds a critical value, the positive equilibrium loses its stability and Hopf bifurcation occurs. Lastly, we determine that sports have a positive effect on adolescent idiopathic scoliosis, directly reducing the number of people with adolescent idiopathic scoliosis.
