Resumo:We herein reported an extremely rare adult case with a congenitally absent superior mesenteric artery associated with polysplenia, who successfully underwent aneurysmectomy and revascularization for superior mesenteric artery aneurysm. To investigate the major splanchnic arteries before a laparotomy in polysplenia patients might be needed to prevent rare but life-threatening complications.
