| description | Developing human capital through education is very important for the education system in Malaysia. Technical and vocational education and training (TVET), holds a major role in our education system. TVET is one of education lines that are aimed to produce skilled workers for our country. This education platform is hoped not only to develop students’ academic and technical knowledge, but also to help students acquire high employability skills. Despite improvements over the past decade, several weaknesses have hobbled TVET, preventing it from playing a supportive role. Therefore, this concept paper aims to examine the level of effectiveness training, generic skill and type of trait-personality towards career aspiration among TVET students. A quantitative methodology research designed was employed for this study. These elements are not only important in preparing them for their future work but also very pivotal for their career aspirations development. Thus, the purpose of this concept paper is to discuss the sustainability for Malaysian TVET and as for TVET students have the same career aspirations in the fields they have learnt in Community College. |
