Summary:The article presents the results of a genre-thematic analysis of 1129 texts recognized as the most popular in 2019 on the platform Ficbook.net. It was found that young people of generation Z - the authors of these works (prose, poetry, journalism), were broadcasting existential anxiety and depression, tell stories which content is mainly related to violence and sex. The research is innovative in connection with empirical material that has not been studied before in the context of the problems of socialization of the digital generation. The features of socialization and motivation of "digital natives" representatives, their behavior in social networks and in real life are revealed. The results obtained can be useful for specialists in media communications, as well as psychologists, sociologists and teachers.
