Summary:Approach on the process of constructing Critical Social Work in Colombia arises and consolidates itself at a time of fierce class struggle in the country. That's why we introduce this work with a brief reference to the deeply reactionary and undemocratic character of the imperialist-capitalist development and the corresponding political and social struggle for the construction of a Colombia with social justice, democracy and sovereignty. From this historic contextualization, it reflects about the process of consolidation of Critical Social Work to consider some political and theoretical challenges, in its national and Latin American articulation to keep for the dispute over a professional ethical-political project in regard to working classes.
