Summary:This study aims to analyze the role of parents, schools, and communities in preventing students from dropping out of school in Indonesia. This is a qualitative study using the subject of students who dropped out of school at the primary education level. The data analysis technique used includes data collection, data reduction, data display, and conclusions. The results show that the roles of parents in preventing children from dropping out of school include: 1) giving great attention and affection; 2) creating a good and harmonious family environment. The roles of school include: 1) creating a child-friendly school environment; 2) providing school programs to support the talents and interests of students; 3) good communication with parents; and 4) creating anti-bullying programs. Meanwhile, the roles of the community are: 1) creating a community environment that cares about education and is child friendly; 2) fair treatment of every child without discrimination.
