Summary:This study aims to explain the leadership role and its relationship to personality factors among school counselors in Jordan. The study sample consisted of (192) school counselors whom working in governmental schools at ministry of education. To achieve the objectives of the study, a leadership role scale was developed for the school counselors which consisted of (33) items. Five major personality factors scale which consisted of (57) items was developed, too. Both scales were verified for stability and validity then applied to the study sample. Results of the study indicated that the level of the leadership role among school counselors in Jordan was high and the male school counselors' practices of the leadership role more than female. And there were significant differences in the post of the counseling program and the model of leader for the benefit of the BA degree, while there were no significant differences due to years of experience.  Also The result showed that the most common personality factors was alertness of conscience  while the diaphragm came  in the last, and there were  differences in the alertness of conscience and openness in favor of  males. There were no significant differences due to the variables of the scientific qualification and years of experience. Also there were positive significant correlation between the leadership role and five personality factors among school counselors. In light of the study results, the researchers recommend further studies on leadership role and personality factors among school counselors.
