The work evidences the elaboration of an open structure for the development of an OMT-G model - Object Modeling Technique for Geographic Applications, for the Urban Land Cadastre (ULC) of João Pessoa, capital of Paraíba (PB), in Brazil. The present study promotes a theoretical and methodological discussion for the identification and functional differentiation of cadastral parcels, from the implementation of the OMT-G model of ULC in a Geographical Database of a certain area of the city of João Pessoa, which allows to discuss the potential and practical possibilities of this model.
