| description | The "New Silk Roads" project is changing the structure and direction of global flows, thereby changing the geopolitical and geo-economic importance of individual territories and countries. Eastern Siberia lies on the route of the North Eurasian Corridor of the "New Silk Roads". This poses a set of challenges to the transport and logistics system of Eastern Siberia that requires scientific understanding. This article presents the results of the study on the logistic potential of eastern Siberia based on the estimation of the real and potential opportunities of organizing international container transport and transit. It also presents the results of the analysis of the peculiarities of the transport and logistics system of Eastern Siberia. The article assesses the obstacles and threats that may hinder the realization of this logistical potential. Based on the results of our research, a set of recommendations has been formulated for Russian authorities, companies operating on the territory of Eastern Siberia, and potential investors. |
