description In this article, we intend, as a first purpose, to present the features of DLNotes2’s, a digital platform for annotations on literature, as a way to study literature in digital environment when the tool is used in educational environment. In order to present it, we discuss the relations between printed and digital text to understand what changes from one to the other, the skills required in each text format and whether the platform can, in fact, provide a valid way to study literature. We propose that this digital way of studying can amplify the culture of literary literacy, despite the institutional preference for printed culture. We can lead this discussion with the support of some theoretical references concerning literacy and hypertext, which leads to our second purpose: comprehending DLNotes2 as an educational digital platform that allows to reflexively read and comment literary texts.
