description The paper investigates the problem of formation of hydrate in the closed container filled with porous waterand gas-saturated media. The system of the differential equations for change of pressure, temperature and hydrate saturation is received. We have analyzed the impact of the deduced diffusion coefficient, the initial parameters of the porous media on the rate of hydrate formation and hydrate saturation value. Analysis of numerical calculations established that more intensive accumulation of hydrate in the volume is realized at low water saturation and high pressures.
