Summary: | Abstract: This study aims to determine the effectiveness of Learning Activity Choice (LAC) model that has been developed previously. Quantitative research approach is quasi experimental method, the result is qualitative analyzed so that it can be called as explanatory design. The results are evidence of a limited trial of the PAB learning model prior to dissemination and wider diffusion to the SD / MI educational audience. This research shows that 23 people (74,2%) stated very effective and 8 people (25,8%) stated effective for application of learning model of PAB in thematic learning. In addition, there is a significant difference between the effectiveness of learning outcomes of knowledge and social learning model of PAB with conventional learning on thematic learning.

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan keefektifan dari model pembelajaran Pilihan Aktivitas Belajar (PAB) yang telah dikembangkan sebelumnya. Pendekatan penelitian kuantitatif yakni metode eksperimen kuasi, yang hasilnya dianalisis kualitatif sehingga dapat disebut juga sebagai desain eksplanatori (explanatory design). Hasil merupakan bukti uji coba terbatas model pembelajaran PAB sebelum diseminasi dan difusi lebih luas kepada khalayak pendidik SD/MI. Penelitian ini menunjukkan dari 23 orang (74,2%) menyatakan sangat efektif dan 8 orang (25,8%) menyatakan efektif penerapan model pembelajaran PAB dalam pembelajaran tematik. Selain itu, ada perbedaan signifikan antara keefektifan pembelajaran hasil belajar pengetahuan dan sosial model PAB dengan pembelajaran konvensional pada pembelajaran tematik.
