| Summary: | This paper proposes to analyse the insipient links between the development of tourism and the rural population in the northwest of Córdoba. It is argued that, based on a knowledge of the cultural practices of peasant families rooted in the territory, it is possible to consider this activity as a complementary source of income (counter-harvesting) and beneficial for the communities as long as it is supported by the construction of community ties with the logic of cultural conservation and care for the native forest. |
