| description | This study prioritizes an approach to the community with the aim of obtaining information and data related to the development of digital villages in Bali Province. The digital village initiated by the central government is a continuation of the desire that the village should become an independent village. Various steps have been taken by the village government such as realizing a tourist village and a digital village, even the synergy of the two. This research was conducted in tourism and digital villages in Bali. Data and information obtained by in-depth interview techniques. The information obtained is managed and analyzed to obtain adequate results. Informants in this study came from various circles of society such as village heads, village consultants, academics and local communities. The result of this research is that in Bali, Digital villages have developed in several areas such as Badung, Tabanan and Buleleng Regencies. The development of this digital village is mostly focused on community services and village governance systems. However, various problems are also faced by these villages such as the need for internet network infrastructure support and quality human resources in creating digital villages. In addition, the synergy of official villages and traditional villages is also needed in supporting the implementation of digital villages.
