Description
Summary:
The paper analyzes the institution of the President of Romania in reference to the constitutional provisions and emphasizes the fact that some regulations represent a disadvantage for this institution, especially in relation to another supreme body of the Romanian people, the Romanian Parliament. Among other aspects, it is pointed out that the Parliament, and not the Constitution, establishes its own competence in its relationship with the President of Romania. The paper attempts to draw attention upon the necessity to reconsider some constitutional provisions in order to eliminate the possibility of interpretation of certain regulations.
