description Allelochemical compounds inhibit weed growth and have undesirable effects on crop plants that should attended in croprotation. Canola is a allelopathic plant that is cultivated in north of Iran .Soybean is a strategic plant that is planted after canola and be affected by released compounds of canola residue. In this research effect of different concentrations of aqueous extract of canola (cv Hyolla 401) includes 0(control), 5%, 10%, 15% and 20% on growth and some of the organic compounds such as soluble sugars, proline, protein, phenolic compounds in root and nodule of soybean (cv Gorgan 3) after 50 days were studied until their response to canola allelochemicals were evaluated. The results showed that by increasing of canola extract concentration fresh and dry weight soybean root did not change significantly while in nodule increased. Amounts of proline and total protein in soybean root in higher concentrations decreased and in nodule also decreased mostly. By increasing extract concentration of canola phenolic compounds in root increased but in nodule decreased that was significant.
