Summary:Due to the computational complexity of grinding wheel profile and grinding interference in the process of grinding double circular tooth gear,a form grinding method is proposed. The gear tooth profile and tooth surface equations of the double circular tooth gear are obtained based on the principle of gear engagement.On this basis,the solution of form grinding contact condition and grinding wheel profile of double circular tooth are carried out. The method is verified by VERICUT simulation and form grinding experiment respectively. The results show that the proposed method can solve the technical problem of the double circular tooth gear by form grinding method.
