At first, I trace a brief genealogy of the concept of information in cybernetic science and neoliberalism; I then approach how these giant tech corporations present themselves as the standard bearers of emancipation from the socio-political structures of modernity, and in turn, the architects of the new space of contemporary capitalism. |
