| Summary: | Following the notable tradition of the prestigious inter-war Sociologie Româneascã journal, which used to publish field investigations concerning the Romanian village, the present paper discusses some detailed field surveys relating to certain essential aspects of the cultivation of vegetables by the gardners (originating from Tîrnovo Bulgaria) in Drăgușeni (Covurlui Hills) with focus on the gardners place of origin, the vegetables cultivated, the gardening works over the year and the marketing places. This is the second case study for the Moldavian zone on this topic, the first one authored by Ion Gugiuman, targeted the Huși area and was published in the Sociologie Românească journal in 1939. |
