Description
Summary:The paper deals with a static and dynamic calibration of selected wide-range thermochromic liquid crystals (TLC - SolarDust 24C), which are very easy to ingest and can provide accurate information on the temperature distribution on different surfaces. Static calibration problems, such as TLC illumination angle or illumination intensity, are solved and conclusions are drawn for the application of such a measurement. Dynamic experiments also indicate a certain time delay (around 50 ms) of the applied TLC measurement layer, which is very important to know for dynamic experimental methods, but the error and inaccuracy of the experiment is too high to draw conclusions.
