Description
Summary:VANET can support a wide range of time-sensitive applications. The communication and computational overheads for these computations are minimal, and there are numerous requirements that must be met. Because of the mobility of vehicles, some traditional MANET routing protocols may not be suitable for the VANET. Aside from its usual use in urban environments, various applications on VANETs have emerged in recent years for rescue, military, communication, security systems. VANETs are entirely wirelessly connected via nodes, which typically have dynamic topologies. When it comes to road safety applications for VANETs, alert communication must be done in a quick manner so that the vehicles receive warning messages without any delay. Based on clustering approach, a protocol is proposed in this paper to communicate emergency messages in less time. The proposed protocol allows storage of non-urgent information temporarily, so that emergency messages are communicated quickly.
