| description | Due to the competitiveness of production over the past years, managers have been trying to improve their business performance by increasing productivity and profitability. Maintenance plays an important role in increasing the efficiency and effectiveness of production lines, reducing costs and improving quality. In this paper, a model is presented for the simulation of JIT production systems in different operating conditions with various maintenance policies. The simulation model is designed for a production line that includes five work stations. The results show that the use of CBM can improve the productivity and profitability of production lines. |
