At that time the vitality of a dynamic society in Castilian cities was the consequence of economic growth in the Kingdom. The author, Fernando de Rojas makes use of urban reality as well as their living experience. Some aspects in the play are placed in urban context and the matters and values connecting with the humanistic influence.
