Description
Summary:This paper describes how a Master’s degree in experimentation, arts and politics, which was launched in September 2010 at Sciences Po Paris and is headed by Bruno Latour, works. The examination of the theoretical underpinnings of the project (pragmatist philosophy, especially that of Dewey), of its general line of analysis (the multiple crises of representation) and its actual working (collaboration between artists and academics, sharing of practices, answers to calls for projects), helps to make sense of its objectives and to legitimise the experimentation of new formats to rethink collaborations between arts and social science.
