Description
Summary:The quality of teachers and their teaching is an important factor in accounting for the student's learning outcomes at the end of their engineering training. This article presents the results of a case study on the implementation of a tutoring plan for new teachers at Escuela Colombiana de Ingeniería Julio Garavito. The objective of this research was to design and execute a tutoring plan as a teacher training strategy for novice teachers, which would allow them to experience what it means to learn to teach and to develop relevant strategies and methodologies to achieve the expected learning results in the subjects they teach. The results obtained were a preliminary adjusted version of the tutoring plan with a set of recommendations for its implementation.
