Summary:Aims: This study investigated the effect of training forgiveness training on resilience and perceived stress in veterans’ wives. The study took place in 2016. The research was conducted among veteranchr('39')s wives who have been used from services of Martyr foundation and Veteranchr('39')s affairs, in Isfahan city. Method & material: Research is an applied research that used experimental plan with pre-test, post-test and control group. Sample volume was 40 veterans’ wives that selected from available sampling method. To gathering data, we used Connor-Davidson resilience questionnaire and Cohens perceived stress questionnaire. Results: The result showed that there is a significant difference between the mean score of resiliency in the pre-test and post-test in experimental group (p<0.01). There is a significant difference between the mean score of perceived stress in the pre-test and post-test in experimental group (p<0.01). There is a significant difference between mean scores of resiliency in the control and experimental groups at post-test (p<0.01). There is a significant difference between mean scores of perceived stress in the control and experimental groups at post-test (p<0.01). Conclusion: The results showed that forgiveness teaching caused decreasing perceived stress and increasing resilience of sample group.
