description The objectives of this study were (1) to compare the speech abilities of students with proficiency in speaking before and after using the imagery to speaking and (2) to evaluate satisfaction of students with an impromptu speaking talent regarding imagery process. Quasi-experimental design was used in this research and the target group included 30 upper secondary students from Mattayom 4-6 who had proficiency in speaking. The instruments used in the research were (1) the process of imagery to make speech (2) a test of study speaking before and after using the imagery process and (3) satisfaction questionnaire of students with an impromptu speaking talent. Results showed that (1) there was comparison results of students with impromptu speaking talent at 0.01 level with the mean scores of the ability to speak before and after using the imagery process equal to 26.30 and 34.13 point from the full score of 40 point (65.75 % and 85.33%, respectively) and (2) students with proficiency in speaking had the highest level of satisfaction in the process of speech imagery with a total average at 4.46 and the standard deviation was 0.47
