| description | The continuous development of the tourism and increasing number of tourists in sensitive and fragile mountainous areas of Iran accompanied by the lack of a comprehensive and integrated planning for tourism in these areas have intensively emphasized an urgent need for a special attention to these areas. In 2017 to achieve the approach of sustainable development of tourism (ecotourism) in mountainous regions of Iran based on their carrying capacity we have studied the threshold capacity of the mountainous area of Kohl in Lorestan province. To estimate this area's capacity, we have used the TCC (Tourism Carrying Capability model) at three levels: physical, real, and effective. In this study 10 sites were determined and we have found that the actual and effective capacities in site 2, where is concentrated in the touristic zone, are more than the site 1. And even the sites 6 and 10 respectively have the lowest and the most rates of real and effective capacities among the all considered 10 sites. |
